The route to Echo Park in Dinosaur National Monument is a relatively long 4×4 road, meaning that few people make the journey. (Also, the clay road is completely impassable when it gets the slightest bit wet.) There are several maintained campsites in Echo Park, and cost varies depending on the time of year. We stayed in a campsite under the large wall in the center of this photo. Steamboat Rock, a tall formation that splits Echo Park in half, can be seen at the far right of the photo.
