At Chaco Culture National Historic Park you can walk right up to thousand year old logs supporting multi-story buildings. Even when it’s 30 degrees and just getting the first glimpses of sun. Thanksgiving was a great time to visit. We were one of only four occupied campsites (out of 49) in the national park’s campground, probably because it got down to 20 degrees that night.
